Description
The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority is soliciting general bids for the replacement of two existing 242-ton outdoor dry coolers and associated pumping systems with two new 400-ton outdoor dry coolers. The project also includes replacement of computer room air-conditioning units and installation of backup cooling for the main Telecom Area C002. The work includes related electrical work and miscellaneous demolition, masonry and concrete, firestopping, waterproofing, damp proofing, caulking, louvers, and ductwork transfer. Filed sub-bids are specifically requested for electrical work. General bidders must provide a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility for the Mechanical Systems classification and an estimated project cost of $1,801,783, along with a Contractor Qualification Update Statement. Sub-bids must include the applicable DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and Subcontractor Qualification Update Statement. Bids require a 5% bid deposit; the successful general bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds.
