Description
Jefferson County is soliciting bids from factory-authorized dealers or repair facilities for automotive springs and spring repair services for county-owned vehicles. The scope covers passenger vehicles, light, medium, and heavy trucks, tandem dumps, tractors, equipment, material trailers, and all-wheel alignment after spring repair. The County will transport vehicles to and from the vendor's location, and bidders must provide labor rates by vehicle category and parts discounts from the manufacturer's list price. All springs must be Spring Research Institute-rated and approved, and all work must include a 30-day warranty. The contract is a requirements contract with no guaranteed minimum or maximum purchases, initially running from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2028, with a mutually agreed one-year renewal option. The County may award to one vendor or designate primary and secondary vendors.
