Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service is seeking responsible, accredited analytical laboratories to perform microbiological and fat testing on meat, poultry, egg, and aquatic product samples supporting federal food procurement programs. Required work includes sample preparation and receipt, aerobic plate counts, coliform and E. coli testing, Salmonella and Shiga toxin-producing E. coli testing, fat analysis, reporting, data management, pathogen notifications, and provision of sampling and shipping supplies. Offerors must maintain ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation for applicable methods and submit technical, management and workforce, past performance, and pricing proposal components, along with a completed and signed SF-1449. The procurement is a firm-fixed-price IDIQ with a base period and four option periods, and the Government may make multiple awards. The guaranteed minimum is $10,000 per contract, with total orders not to exceed $15,000,000 during the contract period.
