Description
The Washington State Department of Revenue is seeking qualified unclaimed-property auditing firms to perform general-ledger and securities audits, assist holders and potential holders with self-audits, identify and collect unreported or underreported property, and deliver property and required owner information to the Department. Services concern holders and potential holders located outside Washington and must comply with the Revised Uniform Unclaimed Property Act, Chapter 63.30 RCW, applicable reporting requirements, and the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators electronic reporting format. Applicants must have at least three years of multistate unclaimed-property compliance-audit experience, supervising staff with at least five years of relevant experience, and the ability to safeguard confidential information. The solicitation anticipates multiple awards, including immediate contracts and placement on a qualified-firm pool. The initial agreement term is intended to be three years, with a potential two-year administrative extension for completing audits already initiated and possible additional extensions. Required responses include the Notice of Intent to Bid, Bidder Profile, Program Proposal, and Disclosures and Certifications.
