Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service requires a contractor to demolish the existing Show Pool picnic shelter and associated concrete slab; construct a new 28-by-52-foot open-air round-log picnic shelter with concrete footings, a concrete slab, standing-seam metal roofing, and a wood tongue-and-groove ceiling; reconstruct the existing masonry fireplace and chimney using salvaged stone; install concrete parking areas, sidewalks, picnic and kiosk slabs, a gravel trail, pavement markings, signage, and parking bumpers; and perform grading, seeding, erosion control, cleanup, and related site improvements. The work also includes project administration, safety controls, utility coordination, testing, submittals, and restoration of damaged existing facilities. This is a firm fixed-price, lump-sum construction requirement under NAICS 238990 and is a total small-business set-aside. The project magnitude is $100,000 to $250,000, and award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable. The period of performance is September 28, 2026, through March 27, 2027. The solicitation requires 20 percent bid, payment, and performance bonds. Amendment 0003 provides revised drawings and specifications and extends the offer deadline to September 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
