Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting an OEM-authorized contractor to provide a firm-fixed-price annual service agreement for two Steris Medivator endoscope high-level disinfection reprocessors at the Detroit VA Medical Center. The scope includes scheduled onsite preventive maintenance, inspection and evaluation, replacement of component parts and preventive-maintenance kits, and unscheduled onsite repair services, including parts, labor, and travel. The contractor must provide initial telephone contact within four hours of a service call, respond within 48 hours when one reprocessor is down and within 24 hours when both are down, and perform onsite work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays and weekends. Offerors must provide evidence of Steris certification or authorization to service the equipment, service-response and OEM-parts acquisition plans, and qualifications and contact information for primary and secondary field service engineers or technicians. Evaluation will use a lowest-price technically acceptable approach.
