Description
Bessemer Area School District is soliciting a total-cost bid for snowplowing services during the 2026–27 season at its high school and Washington School. The scope includes clearing specified entrances, sidewalks, ramps, parking lots, and adjacent street-level areas, with snow pushed to designated areas. If needed, the contractor must also push back snow banks, remove snow, and scrape parking lots as snow begins to thaw at either location. Snowplowing must be completed in the morning by 7:00 a.m. The contractor must maintain backup equipment in case of breakdown, accept responsibility for damage to school property caused during plowing, and complete a walk-through with school officials before plowing begins and after the final plow.
