Description
Thompson Rivers University is seeking proposals for one provider per scope for beverage pouring rights at its main campus. Scope 1 covers non-alcoholic beverage products excluding energy drinks, including fountain beverages, dispensing equipment, beverage vending machines, bottled and hydration beverages, and related vending services. Scope 2 covers energy drink products, including caffeinated beverages and products containing ingredients such as taurine or ginseng, for sale through in-scope campus retail outlets; vending-machine sales may also be proposed. The selected provider must supply, install, and maintain required vending equipment at no cost to the University, support product distribution and replenishment, provide marketing and promotional support, offer healthy and sustainable product options, maintain local British Columbia sourcing objectives, and provide at least one four-month summer co-operative education placement annually. Proposals may address either or both scopes, which will be evaluated and awarded separately. Required proposal materials include the completed Submission Form, Response Form, Financial Proposal Form, Statement of Disclosure, and Supplier Sustainability Questionnaire, with supporting responses covering experience, operations, product mix and pricing, transition and implementation, value-added services, and references.
