Description
The Department of General Services and the California Highway Patrol seek proposals for vending machines at the CHP Solano Area Office. The operator must furnish and install machines, provide snack and beverage products and cashless payment capability, restock and maintain the machines, handle refunds and customer service, and comply with CHP security requirements. The solicitation identifies two placement locations with specified maximum equipment dimensions and requests manufacturer and model details, dimensions, capacity, payment methods, electrical requirements, and product literature for proposed equipment. Proposals must include the company’s legal name, a cover letter describing vending experience, three references from current or former vending locations, proof of financial capability, proposed equipment details, proof of insurance, and a current California Secretary of State Statement of Information. The lease term is five years beginning upon execution of the lease agreement.
