Description
The Gary Sanitary District is soliciting sealed bids for the 15th Place and Clay Street Screen Replacement Project. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and services to demolish an existing trash rack; install a mechanical bar screen; and install a diversion structure with associated manholes and sewers. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and facility tour is scheduled for September 18, 2026. Bids require bid security of at least 5 percent of the total bid, provided as a certified or cashier’s check or an acceptable bid bond. The solicitation also identifies performance and payment bond forms among the contract documents.
