REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TOWN OF MUNSTER, INDIANA Disaster Debris Removal and Debris Monitoring Services The Town Council of Munster, Indiana is requesting proposals from experienced contractors for both disaster debris removal and disposal services and disaster debris monitoring services in order to recover from the recent August 2026 disaster and to respond to disaster events in the future. Companies desiring to provide services can access the Requests through the DFS Procurement Portal at dfs.bonfirehub.com. The Requests can alternatively be viewed at erassist.com/work. Proposal submissions are due no later than 9:00 AM CST on September 17, 2026, through the online DFS Procurement Portal. Questions regarding portal registration or submission shall be emailed to procurement@erassist.com [procurement@erassist.com]. Questions regarding scope of work or specifications shall be submitted within the DFS Procurement Portal. Contract awards are anticipated to occur that the subsequent Munster Town Council meeting. Announcement will be made via the DFS Procurement Portal with the meeting information. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities. Description
The Town of Munster is seeking an experienced contractor to provide disaster debris monitoring services following severe storms in August 2026 and to support monitoring during future disaster events. The requested response must address contractor capacity, experience, and work plan, identify any subcontractors, and include a cost proposal completed through the online bid table. The solicitation requires three references with agency, project, location, year, and reference-contact information. Respondents must also complete required non-collusion, lobbying, affirmative-steps, debarment, conflict-of-interest, and drug-free-workplace confirmations, and upload the contractor’s Drug-Free Workplace Policy. Women-, minority-, and veteran-owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
