Description
The City of Piqua is soliciting bids for furnishing major equipment for the 69kV The Site Substation control building and relay panels project. The scope includes a prefabricated modular control building, protective relay panels, communications and automation equipment, metering, circuit breakers, transformers, switches, and related substation equipment. SCADA programming and integration are excluded from the pricing. The procurement may result in one award for the entire package or separate awards for the control house and relay-panel supply; bidders may bid on either package or both. The engineer's estimate is $425,000. Addendum No. 2 increases the required bid bond to no less than 10% and requires acknowledgment of the addendum. Required bid materials include the Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance Certification, Drug-Free Workplace Compliance Affidavit, Contractor's Qualification Statement, bid guaranty bond, and acknowledgment of the issued addenda.
