Description
Dane County is soliciting bids for the complete demolition of the Ferris Center, located at 2120 Rimrock Road, Madison, WI 53713. The project includes site restoration through seeding and the "making safe" of utilities prior to demolition. Following demolition, the site will be restored, and erosion control permit close-out will be completed. The project also involves coordination with the Madison Fire Department for training scenarios using the structure for thirty days post-contract award and prior to demolition. The contract will be a lump sum. Interested vendors should possess demonstrated experience in demolition and site civil work in urban settings, with the ability to manage projects of similar size and complexity. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 23, 2026, with questions due by July 1, 2026, and bids due by July 9, 2026.
