Description
The City of St. Petersburg is establishing a pool of qualified contractors, including plumbers, roofers, and general contractors, to perform rehabilitation services on single-family homes. This is an ongoing solicitation, and vendors can submit responses at any time. Selected contractors will enter into direct rehabilitation agreements with homeowners for projects funded through various city programs, such as the Affordable Single-Family Homeownership Program and the Affordable Single-Family Residential Facade Improvement Program. Contractors must demonstrate experience in plumbing, roofing, and general contracting, hold a valid State of Florida contractor's license, and have the ability to manage multiple projects. The scope of work includes interior and exterior repairs such as window replacement, painting, tiling, carpet installation, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and roof and fence repairs. Qualified contractors will remain eligible for five years and will be notified of upcoming projects via the Neighborly Contractor Portal. They will be required to attend mandatory on-site pre-bid meetings and submit bids for specific residences.
