Description
The City University of New York Advanced Science Research Center seeks a single vendor to provide an integrated, high-power, ytterbium-based femtosecond laser system with two automated high-energy optical parametric amplifiers. The pump laser must provide at least 80 W average power, pulse energy of at least 2 mJ, computer-controlled operation, remote monitoring and troubleshooting, a closed-loop chiller, laboratory safety-system interfaces, and an external-seeding input. Both OPAs must operate simultaneously from the pump laser and provide automated wavelength tuning, signal and idler outputs, and specified pulse, bandwidth, efficiency, stability, and environmental performance. The second OPA must additionally provide harmonic-generation and difference-frequency-generation outputs spanning ultraviolet through mid-infrared wavelengths. The vendor must assemble, test, and debug the complete system before shipment; provide factory test data, mechanical drawings, tuning curves, shipping, on-site installation, alignment, verification, operator training, and at least a one-year parts-and-labor warranty with on-site service and travel included. The bid must include the complete price, including delivery, warranty, and installation. Subcontracting is not permitted. Bidders must complete and sign the IFB, bid price breakdown, and applicable State Finance Law disclosure and certification form, and submit the required hard-copy bid package by the deadline.
