Description
The U.S. Marine Corps Logistics Command is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing Performance Assurance services for Government-owned industrial manufacturing equipment other than Haas and OMAX equipment. The contemplated scope includes scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, functional assessments, calibration and geometry analysis, vibration analysis, Renishaw ballbar testing, drawbar force testing, annual waterjet services, specified maintenance components, condition reporting, and recommendations for corrective maintenance or spare parts. Covered non-Haas and non-OMAX equipment includes machines manufactured by LVD/Strippit, Cincinnati, Fadal, Trumpf, Hyundai-Kia Machine, and Hardinge. Respondents must identify supported manufacturers and models, applicable OEM authorizations or technician qualifications, relevant experience, and their ability to provide labor, supervision, tools, diagnostic equipment, travel, maintenance components, and technical expertise. This is a market-research notice rather than a request for quotations or proposals; the Government may ultimately proceed with an integrated sole-source award to Phillips Corporation, Federal Division.
