Description
The Georgia Department of Corrections is conducting a one-time purchase for truck-delivered, pre-mixed concrete and grout for Dooly State Prison. The concrete must be 6,000 PSI or higher, with a water-to-cement ratio of 0.28 to 0.35 and graded coarse aggregate measuring 3/4 to 1 inch. The grout must be 2,500 PSI or higher and meet ASTM C476, using Portland cement, sand, and water. Suppliers offering equivalents may be required to provide catalog pages, manufacturer specification sheets, or product demonstrations. Delivery must be made within 6-8 weeks after receipt of the purchase order, with all delivery-related charges included in the quoted price. The response must include completed detailed specification sheets and required sourcing-event responses. The solicitation also requires compliance with Georgia tax, E-Verify, correctional-facility access, background-screening, and applicable PREA and contractor-personnel policies. Insurance is required after award, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, automobile liability, umbrella liability, and contractor's pollution liability. The event accepts only electronic bid responses, and attached documents must be returned in PDF format.
