Description
This sources-sought market survey seeks information from firms capable of repairing and replacing components of a natural gas distribution system. The work includes repairing a leak in a 6-inch HDPE line and replacing an adjacent service tee; replacing leaking, inoperable 8-inch steel valves and flanges; and replacing a 2-inch isolation valve. New valves require valve boxes and risers marked for gas, and cathodic protection must be reconnected or replaced as needed. The contractor would also verify site conditions, coordinate excavation and system outages, provide lockout/tagout work and equipment, coordinate with the utility as needed, and perform pressure and operational testing. The statement of work specifies at least one hour of pressure testing for new piping and valves, cleanup and off-site disposal of project waste, and a period of performance from award through April 30, 2027.
