Description
The City of Omaha seeks a contractor to rehabilitate manholes and associated structures along a sanitary sewer interceptor. Work includes inspecting manholes; removing and installing manhole liners; repairing and sealing manhole components; replacing frames, covers, and concrete structures; bypass pumping; and restoring affected sites, including removing and replacing sections of concrete trail. The bid schedule also includes equipment delivery and rental, clearing and grubbing, mobilization, and site restoration and seeding. The bid requires an Economic Sustainability Program annual plan or current certificate, a Small and Emerging Small Business participation disclosure, and other specified compliance forms. A bid security of 5% of the total bid is required for bids of $50,000 or more; a copy is uploaded with the electronic bid, and the original must be delivered to the City Clerk within seven calendar days after closing. The project reserves 5% of the total bid for qualifying Tier I and Tier II Emerging Small and Small Businesses. Apprentice utilization is optional and may qualify for a bid incentive.
