Description
Teton County is seeking a registered Wyoming lobbyist to represent the County's interests before the state legislature, executive agencies, boards, and related governmental and nonprofit associations. Services include developing and implementing a legislative plan; monitoring and analyzing bills and administrative rules; advising commissioners and staff; arranging and supporting testimony; meeting with legislators and agency officials; building coalitions; pursuing legislative, grant, and other funding opportunities; and providing monthly written activity summaries. Respondents must be registered lobbyists under Wyoming law and demonstrate relevant lobbying experience, qualifications, financial capacity, staff capabilities, and recent similar projects. The initial response must include a cover letter, approach and technical staff summary, project examples, personnel qualifications and resumes, recent references, relevant certifications or memberships, a proposed professional-services contract, suggested scope improvements, and potential conflicts of interest. Fee proposals are not required initially; finalist firms will later be asked to submit fee information. The agreement term is negotiable for up to two years, with early termination permitted at either party's discretion.
