Description
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre is seeking one full-time individual consultant to lead communications for the 3R-CReWS Project in Barbados. The assignment includes updating the project communication strategy; developing a knowledge management strategy; implementing a gender-sensitive public education and awareness campaign; managing webpage and social media content; producing videos, press releases, case studies, digital flyers, newsletters, and other communication materials; coordinating media relations, press events, workshops, community consultations, school programs, and site tours; and preparing a final assessment of campaign effectiveness. The initial contract is for 12 months, with possible renewal subject to satisfactory performance and project needs. The consultant must have at least a master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and at least five years of relevant communications experience. The total contract value is USD 38,400, paid at USD 3,200 per month. The consultant will be stationed at the Barbados Water Authority offices and will work with the Centre's communications department and the Barbados Water Authority's marketing team.
