Description
The State of Hawaii Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Health Care Division, is soliciting providers for temporary nursing services for incarcerated adults at eight correctional facilities on Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai. The required personnel include Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses for long-term vacancies and short-term coverage of vacation, illness, and other staffing needs. Services include patient assessments, direct and emergency care, medication administration, chronic and acute care, mental-health support, health education, documentation, and related correctional healthcare duties. Providers must have at least five years of nursing-service or supplemental-staffing business experience, maintain a Hawaii office, and provide appropriately licensed or certified personnel with recent experience, CPR/first-aid credentials, respirator fit testing, background checks, and other required clearances. The estimated funding is $6,300,000 for the initial 36-month period, with up to two additional 12-month extensions. Proposals must include the prescribed application materials, pricing forms, wage certificate, compliance documentation, financial statement, and required certifications.
