Description
The Hawaii Health Systems Corporation is seeking a contractor to provide remote, uninterrupted radiology interpretation services seven days per week for imaging examinations performed at facilities in its East Hawaii, West Hawaii, and Kauai regions. The scope covers X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, DEXA, mammography, angiography, and related overread services, with specified turnaround times of 8 hours for outpatient studies, 4 hours for inpatient studies, 1 hour for emergency-department studies, and 30 minutes for STAT studies. The contractor must provide radiologist consultation, preliminary and final interpretations, quality reporting, medical-staff participation, accreditation support, and qualified Hawaii-licensed, board-certified radiologists with required facility privileges. The contractor must support bidirectional integration with the regional EMR and PACS systems, including DICOM image transfer, HL7 order messaging, and electronic report transmission. The agreement has a three-year initial term beginning June 21, 2027, with up to three additional years of renewal. Proposals must include technical and cost information, implementation planning, organizational and staffing information, references, and the specified completed appendices and declarations.
