Description
The USDA Agricultural Research Service is soliciting a LightBench Discover or verified equivalent automated DNA analysis and size-selection pulsed-field electrophoresis system. The system must provide automated gel-based DNA size selection, recovery of selected DNA, pulsed-field separation and analysis of large DNA fragments up to at least 80 kb, DNA quantification, independent processing of sample lanes, ready-to-use gel cassettes or equivalent consumables, preservation of unused lanes or sample positions, and compatibility with next-generation sequencing workflows. Required operating software and hardware are included. The requirement also includes the installation kit, installation, setup, calibration, and customer training. The acquisition is a firm-fixed-price, one-year purchase order with one planned award; quotations must include pricing for all line items, including the instrument, installation kit and associated components, and installation and training services. Exact products or verified same/similar equivalents will be considered.
