Description
This project involves construction services for the rehabilitation of the rainwater catchment system at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This includes improvements to ground catchment, collection pipes, filtration, storage tanks, and equipment. Additionally, site pavement impacted by these improvements will be replaced, and the perimeter security fence will be replaced. The project also includes the demolition and replacement of Building 43 with a new pre-engineered metal building. Furthermore, Building 241 will be demolished and replaced with a similar open-air structure incorporating steel columns. Two smaller accessory buildings under the structure will be removed, and a new one-story CMU building will be constructed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 237110 (Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction). The anticipated period of performance is 610 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, and the contract type will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds will be required.
