Description
Geary County is soliciting sealed bids for complete preparation and exterior painting of the 4H/Senior Citizen Center at 1025 South Spring Valley Road, Junction City, Kansas. The work includes cleaning and preparing surfaces; matching the existing paint color; repainting exterior walls, fascia, soffits, trim, and exterior moldings; supplying all labor and materials; protecting non-painted areas and the building grounds; and completing all cleanup. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the building and verify existing conditions before submitting a bid. The selected contractor must coordinate the work schedule with Geary County Public Works, comply with applicable Junction City and Geary County building codes, obtain required permits, and carry general liability insurance naming Geary County as certificate holder. The bid packet requires labor, materials, rental, incidental, and total cost entries, along with estimated start and finish dates and an authorized representative's signature.
