Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks capability statements for a future construction project involving a new single-story, 15,756-gross-square-foot outpatient behavioral health center at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center. The anticipated project will use a firm-fixed-price, design-bid-build contract and require labor, materials, and equipment for comprehensive construction services. The scope includes new construction; mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, low-voltage, fire protection, and fire alarm systems; utility coordination and tie-ins within an active hospital; interior finishes; structural and site work; landscaping; underground stormwater retention and management systems; communications utility work; and asbestos and lead survey and abatement where present. The anticipated construction magnitude is $10,000,000 to $20,000,000, with an estimated duration of 680 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Respondents must submit a capability statement addressing company qualifications, business size and socioeconomic status, interest in the project, bonding capacity, up to three comparable projects completed within the last seven years, relevant technical skills and personnel, and self-performed work.
