Description
The City of Rochelle is soliciting sealed bids for the 2026 1st Avenue and 9th Street Pavement Improvements project. The work includes HMA surface removal; storm sewer replacement; combination concrete curb and gutter replacement; aggregate base courses; Portland cement concrete sidewalks; HMA base and surface courses; pavement markings; landscape restoration; traffic control and protection; and associated work. Bids must include a Hold Harmless Agreement and Non-Collusion Affidavit of Compliance. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City of Rochelle, although a certified cashier’s check may be used instead. A performance surety will be required as specified in the contract documents. The project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
