Description
The City of Covington is soliciting sealed proposals for renovations to the existing Covington Aquatic Center. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees required for site improvements shown in the contract drawings, including replacement of the pool liner and tiles, refurbishment of the bulkhead, repairs to concrete steps, and conversion of two restrooms into restroom/changing rooms. The estimated project cost is $1,200,000 to $1,300,000, with an additive alternate estimated at $80,000 to $110,000. The contractual Notice to Proceed is planned for December 3, 2026, on-site work is planned to begin February 22, 2027, pool-related natatorium work must be complete by April 16, 2027, and all work must be physically complete by May 28, 2027. Proposals must use the provided bid form and include a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or proposal bond of at least five percent of the total proposal amount.
