The City of Stuttgart, Arkansas is seeking to finance the completion of betterments and improvements to its sewer facilities. The total cost of these improvements is estimated to be $2,347,000, which will be financed through the issuance of a Water and Sewer Revenue Bond, Series 2026. This bond will bear an interest rate of 3.0% per annum and will be repaid over a 20-year period, with the final payment due on August 1, 2048. The bond is a special obligation of the City, payable solely from the revenues derived from the water and sewer system.
