Description
The United States Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price service contract for full maintenance, repair, replacement, and inspection of 17 vertical transportation equipment units at Little Rock Air Force Base: six traction elevators and 11 hydro/electric elevators. The contractor must provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts, labor, routine and emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, fire-service inspections every 30 days, testing by a Qualified Elevator Inspector, and required reporting. Services must comply with applicable ASME, ANSI/ASME, NFPA, OSHA, UFC, manufacturer, and Arkansas requirements, and the contractor or subcontractor must be fully licensed in Arkansas for VTE maintenance. The requirement includes a base period and four 12-month option periods, plus a possible six-month extension. Routine service calls require an in-person response within 24 hours, and emergency calls require an in-person response within two hours. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside, and the solicitation evaluates price and past performance, requiring at least two years of similar-scope and similar-magnitude experience performed within the preceding four years.
