Description
The Arkansas Department of Transportation is soliciting aluminum sign blanks in multiple sizes, including standard, square, diamond, vertical, horizontal, and stop-sign configurations. The estimate includes 12 line items totaling 19,850 units, with thicknesses of 0.080 or 0.100 inches and specified post-hole punching, stacking, and skid requirements. The blanks must use 5052-H38 aluminum governed by ASTM B-209, have smooth surfaces without sharp or barbed outside edges, and receive alodizing treatment in accordance with the coating manufacturer's recommendations. The successful bidder must furnish three copies of a certified physical test report and chemical analysis covering each item in each shipment and the alodizing process.
