Description
The U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), on behalf of the Voice of America (VOA), is soliciting proposals for satellite transponder capacity, managed teleport services, signal monitoring, and program delivery. This service will support the distribution of VOA Persian TV (HD) and its accompanying audio via the TurkmenAlem/MonacoSat at the 52-degree East orbital location. The service originates from USAGM headquarters in Washington, D.C., and USAGM's Data Center in Ashburn, VA. This contract is intended to enhance the distribution of VOA Persian TV to audiences in the target area by utilizing a diverse set of satellites and frequencies. The contract will have a base period of one year, starting from the date of award, with the possibility of two one-year option periods. Proposals must be submitted electronically in PDF format, with a total attachment size not exceeding 23MB. The solicitation requires offers to be received by 10:00 AM ET on July 3, 2026. Questions regarding the solicitation are due by 10:00 AM ET on June 18, 2026.
