Description
Fort Bragg Unified School District is soliciting proposals for local area network infrastructure upgrades funded under E-Rate Funding Year 2027–2028. The work includes connecting Fort Bragg High School to the stadium press box and concession stand; providing and installing conduit, racks, support structures, single-mode fiber cabling, LC patch panels, and related terminations; and testing and certifying the fiber using OTDR and power-meter testing, with results provided to the District. The project also includes removing and replacing 48 Category 5 network drops at the District Office with Category 6 cabling, terminating the cabling on new Category 6 patch panels, and potentially providing Category 6 patch cables. Proposals must include itemized pricing, an implementation and testing plan, subcontractor responsibilities if applicable, at least three fiber and Category 6A cabling references with contact information, SPIN numbers, an E-Rate support organization chart, and confirmation of the ability to support SIP billing and discounting. The contract is contingent on full E-Rate funding and is for Funding Year 2027–2028.
