Description
The Indian Health Service is conducting market research for non-personal, firm-fixed-price healthcare services supporting the Cheyenne River Health Center. The contractor would recruit, credential, and place up to six EMT-paramedics and six EMT-basics, with a minimum staffing level of four in each category, to support uninterrupted 24/7 EMS operations. Services include advanced life support ambulance service, patient and administrative transports, transportation to and from aeromedical evacuation sites, transportation of remains, and field ambulance services. Personnel must meet applicable certification, licensure, training, credentialing, background investigation, employee-health, and security requirements. The contractor must maintain staffing coverage, provide qualified replacements for absences, support rotating 12-hour shifts and on-call coverage, document patient care and EMS responses, and meet specified response-time and performance standards. The anticipated structure is a one-year base period with four one-year option periods; this notice is for market research only and is not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
