Mississippi State University is soliciting bids for replacement of existing Trane RAUC25 and RAUC60 condensers, evaporator coils in existing air-handling units, and all associated thermostatic expansion valves at the Department of Sustainable Bioproducts, Building 11 Franklin. The work includes furnishing labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, a crane, and incidental services; removing and disposing of existing equipment; modifying or reconnecting refrigerant piping, electrical wiring, controls, and condensate drains; and installing filter shells, isolation valves, sight glasses, solenoids, coils, and related components. Acceptable refrigerants are R410A and R454B. The contractor must pressure-test, evacuate, charge, leak-check, start, test, and commission the refrigeration and HVAC systems, verify controls and safety devices, and clean the work area. The warranty must provide one year of parts and labor and two to five years of compressor parts coverage. Preferred installation is December 21, 2026, through January 1, 2027, but all work must be completed no later than April 15, 2027.
