Description
The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy is soliciting Statements of Interest under the Advancing Global Health Annual Program Statement. Applicants must submit a concise concept note responding to a specific addendum; the SOI is the first phase of a two-step process and is not itself a full proposal or federal assistance award. Projects may address bilateral health priorities, integrated health-system delivery, disease surveillance, health security, country ownership, and sustainable financing across designated countries and regions. The newly posted addenda include Accelerating Nutrition Progress and Accelerating the Elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases. Nutrition projects may support infant and young-child feeding, maternal nutrition and prenatal micronutrient supplementation, vitamin A supplementation, nutrition surveillance and data systems, and prevention or management of child wasting through existing health and community platforms. NTD projects may support preventive chemotherapy and mass drug administration, surveillance, laboratory and diagnostic capacity, vector control, community prevention and case detection, morbidity management, WASH interventions, supply chains, operational research, and transition toward country-owned elimination programs. Proposed projects may last up to five years. SOIs are limited to five pages or 2,500 words for the core narrative, with up to four one-page annexes, and must be submitted as a single PDF.
