Description
Kern County is requesting two new, unused, current-model armored wheel loaders with roll-out grapple buckets, meeting the detailed specifications in the attached quotation request. The specifications allow the named Caterpillar model or an equivalent and cover equipment capacity, cab and operator features, engine and powertrain, hydraulics, protective armoring, tires, manuals, warranty, and service support. Vendors must complete the quotation request and the equipment compliance/exception specifications sheet, and provide pricing and delivery information. The County may make an award to one vendor or split the award among vendors. The equipment will be delivered to the County’s Public Works Fleet facility and inspected for compliance before acceptance.
