Description
Lee County Electrical Cooperative is seeking a contractor to perform painting and stucco repair at the Burnt Store Substation. The scope includes removal and replacement of EIFS wall caps and finishes; repair of stucco trim moldings; preparation and repainting of relay-building stucco, perimeter walls, metal drip edges, service doors, handrails, and entry gates; pressure cleaning; mildew removal; crack repair; caulking; priming; and application of specified finish coatings. The work includes a fixed-price, lump-sum proposal and a manufacturer-backed prorated 15-year limited warranty on stucco materials. Contractors must provide permits and licenses, comply with OSHA requirements, furnish required PPE, complete utility-provided substation training for workers entering the substation perimeter, and submit coating manufacturers' technical data and recommendations after bidding. The proposal must include a cover letter, company profile, relevant experience from the last five years, project approach and schedule, detailed cost proposal, at least three recent client references, and completed and signed exhibits, certifications, and affidavits. The solicitation also requires review and acceptance or redlining of the proposed contract terms.
