Description
The Bureau of Reclamation is soliciting a firm-fixed-price construction contract for the Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project’s Cutter Lateral Reach 21. The work includes a prefabricated concrete booster pump station with two vertical in-line pumps, associated foundations, piping, valves, electrical and control systems, SCADA equipment, and radio communications. The contractor will also install a second 500,000-gallon welded-steel regulating tank at the existing Regulation Tank No. 3 site, with related foundations, piping, electrical and control equipment, cathodic protection, and commissioning. Additional work includes excavation, backfill, site grading, gravel surfacing, fencing, erosion and scour protection, and restoration. The solicitation requires a full-time safety representative, quality-control representative, and qualified survey personnel. The project magnitude is stated as $10 million to $25 million. The total small-business set-aside is explicit, and the bid guarantee is 20 percent of the bid price or $2 million, whichever is less.
