Description
Round Valley Unified School District is seeking proposals for fiber internet access at bandwidths from 1 Gbps to 5 Gbps, with pricing for 1-, 3-, and 5-year terms. Three- and five-year options should allow bandwidth upgrades during the contract term. The service handoff must connect directly to the district’s supplied local area network, and proposals should identify recurring charges, installation and activation costs, equipment, one-time charges, and other fees, separating eligible from ineligible costs. The requested scope includes any necessary fiber construction and installation, such as trenching, boring, or plowing; conduit, handholes, vaults, poles, and fiber cable; splicing, termination, labeling, testing, acceptance, and project management. Proposals should include a service-level agreement and outage reporting and basic technical support without additional fees. Vendors must submit the attached E-Rate Service Provider Bid Response Form and identify their SPIN. Contracts are contingent on E-Rate funding. The solicitation also includes a non-collusion affidavit and offer-and-acceptance form.
