Description
The Town of Colonie's Department of Public Works, Division of Latham Water, is soliciting sealed bids for well power supply rehabilitation and replacement at the Mohawk View Water Treatment Plant. Bidders must submit the completed solicitation pages and any required documents, along with bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount in the form of a certified check or bid bond. The successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond equal to the full bid amount at contract execution. If the project award exceeds $750,000, the successful bidder must have an apprenticeship program in place. A strongly recommended pre-bid meeting will be held at the treatment plant, where attendees may inspect the project and ask questions.
