Description
CalOptima Health is soliciting bids from C-11 Certified Competent Conveyance Mechanics for elevator renovation at two occupied Class B commercial office buildings: 500 City Parkway West, containing two elevators, and 505 City Parkway West, containing five elevators. The work includes equipment renovation, controls, drives, doors, communications, safety systems, wiring, finishes, testing, inspections, code compliance, structural coordination, permits, warranties, project documentation, and scheduling. Addendum No. 3 provides structural as-built plans, and Addendum No. 4 provides job-walk answers, including information about emergency power, crane positioning, staging, and coordination with other building work. Two separate contracts will be awarded: one for renovation and one for follow-on elevator maintenance. The bid includes pricing for 72 months of full maintenance following acceptance, including the initial 12-month maintenance period and extended maintenance pricing. Maintenance includes preventive service, repairs, callback response, testing, reporting, parts, records, and required local parts stock. An alternate requests pricing for five additional years of maintenance after the initial 12-month period, and another requests OEM controllers instead of the specified MCE controllers.
