Description
San Luis Obispo County is seeking a vendor to provide, as needed, NSF-approved bulk hydrochloric acid 15% and sodium hypochlorite 12.5% for public pool facilities. The scope includes delivery to multiple County Parks locations, rental of approximately 500-gallon and 300-gallon chemical tanks, and compliance with specified tank dimensions, materials, labeling, ventilation, fittings, UV resistance, and NSF/ANSI Standard 61 requirements. The vendor must install, maintain, repair, clean, and remove the tanks; dispose of remaining chemicals as hazardous waste at no cost to the County; and provide deliveries Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The initial contract term runs from award through June 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year extensions. Pricing must include delivery and remain firm during the initial term. The bid sheet requires delivered per-gallon pricing for each chemical/tank configuration and must be completed and uploaded with the response.
