Description
The City seeks contractors for an indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery task-order program to repair sewer infrastructure throughout the city. Work includes excavation; repair or replacement of storm and sanitary sewer pipes of various sizes and materials; construction or repair of sewer structures, manholes, and intakes; backfilling; and related work. Pavement, sidewalk, and other surface restoration, traffic control, erosion control, and seeding or sodding are also included. The City may award to multiple bidders. The initial contract has a one-year term and one option year; the initial year guarantees $250,000 in work, with a stated maximum of $1,600,000, while the option-year maximum depends on available funding. Bids must include prices for both years. A bid bond equal to 5% of the bid is required for bids over $100,000; performance and payment bonds and a four-year maintenance bond are required of the awarded contractor for awards over $100,000. A certificate of insurance and, for construction bids of $25,000 or more, DBE outreach forms and supporting contact documentation are also required with the bid.
