Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for a new lease of approximately 15,638 ABOA square feet, not to exceed 20,746 rentable square feet, for a Community Resource and Referral Center. The proposed facility may be an existing building, new construction, or a multi-tenant building under construction. The lessor would provide design and construction/build-out, a fully serviced lease, and maintenance and operations for a term of up to 20 years, including options. The anticipated construction/build-out magnitude is between $5 million and $10 million. The space must meet VA accessibility, security, building, and safety requirements and include at least 70 parking spaces within 500 feet, including designated accessible and government-vehicle spaces. Respondents must provide detailed property, site, access, zoning, transit, utility, ownership/authorization, and compliance information. The notice requests expressions of interest and capabilities information for market research; it is not a request for proposals, and a solicitation may or may not follow. The capabilities information includes relevant project experience, business-status and registration evidence, bonding capacity, and financing capability.
