Description
Chenango County is soliciting bids for bridge maintenance services at two locations: BIN 3350360 (County Road 32 over Wheeler Brook, Town of Greene) and BIN 3350640 (Lyon Brook Road over Lyon Brook, Town of Oxford). The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, and equipment necessary for bridge cleaning, painting, and structural steel repairs. This is a Federal Aid Project, and all work must adhere to the NYSDOT Standard Specifications adopted May 1, 2026. The project requires adherence to EEO employment goals of 1.1% Minority Employment and 6.9% Women Employment. Contractors must be registered with the NYSDOL and use the NYSDOT approved civil rights reporting software, Equitable Business Opportunities (EBO). All work must be completed within 42 calendar days after notice to proceed, with a final completion date of November 2, 2026. Performance, Payment, and Guarantee Bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid will be required from the successful bidder.
