Description
The City of Moline, through its Community Housing Services Program, invites bids for the rehabilitation of a single-family home at 1619 27th Avenue. The project includes removal and replacement of a non-sealing entry door with a pre-hung insulated metal entrance door and jamb, including weatherstripping, threshold, and deadbolt; removal and replacement of a damaged screen door with an aluminum combination storm and screen door; and removal of existing concrete steps and construction of a new wood-framed landing and stairs with concrete footer, wood handrails, and a concrete sidewalk from the base of the stairs to the existing driveway, including removal of one bush and reseeding of disturbed earth. All work must comply with City of Moline codes and ordinances. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits and must have an active SAM registration and UEI. EPA RRP Rule compliance is required for pre-1978 structures.
