Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for a one-time purchase of corrugated aluminum pipe and aluminum connecting bands for inventory supporting upcoming routine maintenance improvement projects. Required pipe sizes include 18-, 24-, 30-, 36-, and 48-inch diameters, with specified lengths and thicknesses, along with connecting bands for the applicable pipe sizes. Products must comply with the 2024 North Carolina Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, be inspected and approved by an NCDOT Materials and Tests inspector, and be stamped. The awarded vendor must deliver FOB destination within 30 consecutive calendar days after receipt of a purchase order. The vendor must be an authorized manufacturer, dealer, reseller, or distributor, and must complete the required execution pages, pricing form, worker-location form, and other applicable attachments. Bids will generally be awarded to the responsive lowest-priced offer meeting the specifications, although the State may make separate awards by line item.
