Description
Fayetteville State University is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of campuswide utility infrastructure switch equipment. The requested equipment consists of seven four-way, air-insulated, medium-voltage pad-mounted switches and one six-way, solid-dielectric, pad-mounted switch. Equipment must meet the detailed project specifications, including applicable electrical ratings, factory assembly and testing, labeling, product data, shop drawings, wiring diagrams, material test reports, and other specified documentation. Acceptable manufacturers and equivalent products are permitted when they meet the requirements; equipment within each line item must come from a single manufacturer. The vendor is responsible for supplying approved equipment, shipping it to the university campus or an agreed-upon North Carolina bonded warehouse, providing pallets and required technical documentation, and meeting the stated delivery requirements. Offloading, installation, field testing, medium-voltage cable work, and certain accessories are excluded from the vendor's scope. Bidders must provide manufacturer authorization, descriptive literature, pricing, references for the exact model offered, financial-condition certification, worker-location information, and other required forms. The initial contract term is one year, beginning upon final contract execution.
